VX Ace RTP is needed
Yup. We are already ready to present the first playable test demo of the game. Not too much currently, 2 tiny maps, and a few fights. But it lets you guys get an idea of what to be expecting in a nearly finished build, and that's the main aim yes?

Controls:
Z/Enter = OK/Select
X/Backspace = Decline/Back
Q/W = Switch between cast/targets while in a menu.
F5 = Change between window/full screen.
F12 = Reset

Let me know how you guys are enjoying such right now and the like. I'll be posting more stuff later on in the week.

*Please notes that bugs are expected. Spell check has yet to be ran. The 'Queen' Q-Bee's images are not final. There is a crystal made for this demo to let you play around with teams.

Not at all! Honestly I wouldn't even know the cause of that! But lets try to figure it out? I assume if you made it that far, you already have the RPG Maker VX Ace RTP installed. So what? when the first fight happens you just get this error? Or is this after the first fight on the explorable tiny maps? Can you also provide me a screenshot of this error, more less any more info on your situation?

in the queen's chamber when the party is defeated there's a 4th qbee with a normal status sprite. Sorry can't upload a S.S. Now.

Lipucd, although a lurker, I just wanted to chime in with my unending support for your projects. Being a longtime fan of mo2, s-nina, and your commissions since before I can remember, I am overjoyed that you are finally teamed up with these great people that can make Project:QB come to full fruition. Mind control, latex/slime transformations, parasitism, plant conversion, and most importantly Kuromaru takeovers are amongst my most favorite subjects from the multitude of artists from around the net. And it is needless to mention that mo2 and s-nina are among the best for this kind of visual content

All of your teamwork is greatly appreciated and your love and dedication to this project show as it continues to develop. If mo2's skill at pixel art/animation and s-nina's polished drawing ability are of any indication, I believe that the sky is the limit.

I wonder if it would be possible for you and the team be able to implement your own animated (throbbing/engulfing/dripping/wriggling/etc) battler avatars and attack sequences. After all, mo2's animations are among the absolute best on the net!

Regardless of what direction you take this project, thank you once again for sharing your passion for what you enjoy. ^_^

awesome demo so far the only bug I've noticed but only really played once. Was when one of my pawns is converted to the enemy side the damage of that attack remains up for the rest of combat. Not really a huge issue, and if it's a recurring issue it's probably\y already known.

man this game is hard is the actual game gonna be this hard as well because lvl 1 and enemies that can kill you instanly is kinda unfair since they can also take away your ex when it is so hard to gain it.
This is not a complaint but just a feedback i hope you dont take it the wrong way

I know you like your games hard, constantly feeling like every battle can be your last, and this is no exception. Still, it took me 3 tries to beat the first parasite battle, with 4 girls in my team.
So far it's a bit TOO hard. Lowering the chance of the status effect attack for the parasites or all enemies HP would be a good start for a fix.

Seriously, the parasite infested girl having 1700HP, when the queen doesn't has that much, doesn't makes much sense.

1st battle seems to be way too luck driven. 3 resistant enemies which pretty much disable 1 of your characters in 2 turns seems while you kill 1 if lucky in 3 with 3 characters. Also resistances seem kinda useless if there is no attacks which have at least neutral effect. Struggle and help both doesn't seem to be any of effect in that fight.

While with 4 characters seems much easier in general 1 in 2 or 1 turn gets killed.

Make a way to save after long story driven scenes or animations it is not fun restart game 5 times and be forced to watch same scene.

Those status effect icons go way over sprites during battles If it possible it would be cool to have a way temporary disable hud, or at least move either sprites or status effects.

Having some gallery or gallery room with all images which you have seen may be good idea. But generally depends on length of the game.

Working on such now, including making 'Struggle/assist' a bit better. the idea though is that it isn't support to be 100% success as it'll complete remove the status outright.

The objective is to try to get around and not lose your Q-Bee's :P If you end up with just the Queen or a single drone left, it's suppose to feel pretty damn hopeless then, so that's intended.

You already have a 'Save' function in the main menu. You can save at any location you desire without the need of a Save point.

Don't worry, I've already got a way for the player to 'enjoy' the images and the like once they beat the game ( or just cheat. ). I'll have a 'battle replay' mode that people can just pick and choose what fights they want to do though.

Hmm thought inability to remove kuromaru infection is intended.
tentacle infection seems removed sorta ok here and there.
And don't really game should be easier it is not fun, it is more about question of removing annoying non gameplay related annoyances like forced unskippable scenes. without ways to save before next battle.

It is not that 2 or solo daunting and hopless it is ok. It is just jump from standart 3 to 4 is huge jump. Mostly due to shear power of body-blocking.
Because battles mostly status driven health seems irrevelant while status level is not. So you may say every bee has same health. So you increase total surviability by 24-30%(or 1 - 3 more turns to work) from 3 to 4. If you understand what I'm talking about.

Is it possible to save during scenes.
I'm not really fan of saving where ever you want in such games but doesn't matter in long run.

downloading issue

everytime I try to download the demo of qbee my antivirus software prevents it from finishing as its saying there is an suspicious program in it

Someone else had this issue as well. I can assure you it's a false posative, but if need be, catch me via Skype or Steam ( Lipucd for both ) and I'll give you a .rar version. I think versions past this one will just be compressed as well to save myself the effort.
